Nosey Parker and mandatory cokes. Esspressos!?
From Dan’s email to me ” , 25miles around rowsley near bakewell. Weather good to start with intense wetness towards the end (Admin:Oooh-err, missus). Mud-tastic trails ensured hardwork at low speed, coupled with obligatory mis-direction from soggy paper maps, ensured a 5 hour epic. Probably one of the best descents ever through a golf course (Admin:Don’t tell Croxy), technical, twisty, steep and rooty. Pie, chips and a pint to finish. Marvellous.”
Crew:
BionEric (aka the Hipster), El Pres, El Pud, G, PTD, Shaun, Salad Dodger, Stunt, Luc, Big Nic, Coley, Trevor Jackson + Mates Mark & Alan, Big Dan picked up at the Boar’s Head.
Route:
A low level flattish tour of the former Poynton Coalfields via Middlewood way, Miners Arms.

Stunt has to realign rear wheel, Eric punctures
1 comedy off from Stunt & Shaun crunches his undercarriage (ouch)
Notes:
Eric returns to full TNR Status
Big Nic brings a monster bike for a flat ride!
El Puds route seems to consist of short sections of mud or rubble indispersed by steps & stiles!
White Nancies encountered in Lyme Park
Even Kershaw admits it’s a bit muddy!
Stunt has a road to damascus experience on the Voodoo with 2.1’s and a properly aligned rear wheel!
El Presidente’s menu touch deserts him
The return of Trevor “Get the beers in” Jackson who shows off AAA powered LED lighting (but he still has the lead acid cell!)
Curly Wurly mega thingy sundaes – Mmmmm (but sat heavy on the middlewood way home)
