Conditions: 24C, Light Breeze higher up, blue sky, dry trails
Stats: One shock faff from shaun, (El Pud fits new saddle bolt “pre ride”?!)

Notes:
El Pud takes charge with weather to die for, so we’ll forgive the fashion faux par of socks in sandals 😉
The all important drinks wagon dropped off at Teggs, we head uphill to the tea rooms in the heat.
Butty goes singlespeed psycho blasting into the distance (well the faster you go the cooler the breeze!?)
The suicide squad are also out – and the white leathered “Taylor” buzzes most of us at ludicrous speeds, two wheels good..but there are limits!
The sun is red and high, the haze is orange & thick, the trails are dry and fast… how much fun would the descent to Lamaload be if there were no fences? grins are big, brakes are hot and camebacks are low by the time we regroup, shall we go round again? only just in jest.

More descending into Rainow, and a final sweaty slog up bull hill.
Bikes, Beer & Boxes hauled up to the Benches for Pimms O’Clock with a glorious view…and by jove its ice cold gold my dear old thing 🙂
Ale on tap, magners over ice, curry bug spray and old spice!
Nic gets all OCD with tidying up, and we have bags in boxes, and boxes in bags (but no cat in the hat)
Pete has tripod for camera atistry, Butty has chilled Absinthe and sugar cubes for axis of evilness.
