Conditions : The showers had just about stopped. A clear , sunny evening with great views across the Cheshire plain to Manchester. Very clear air. Cool in the breeze on Dale Top .

Notes :
After last weeks epic Butty organised adventure we returned to a more usual ride length.

But….it truly was like a school reunion
Mr K turned up for the second week in a row
Then …the prodigal son himself, El Pud, put in an appearance.
And PTD was finally being able to escape to a Thursday night on the bike

Highlights :
- A “retro” crew of eight on a classic route
- Excellent views from up on Dale Top with a clear end to what had been a damp day
- A long overdue return to the Poachers
- A fine session IPA “Scaredy Cat” on draught
- The catalytic effect of Mr T ….Ribaldry was rife from the word go on reaching the pub – Much chortling ensued
- The corruption of El Presidente into whiskey consumption (..perhaps , on reflection, that should be a lowlight)

Lowlights
- It all having to end
- No Alex !

Another excellent evening …thanks to all for the turn out and the camaraderie.
