Notes

After last weeks epic Butty organised adventure we returned to a more usual ride length.

Ride with the Devil ?

But….it truly was like a school reunion

Mr K turned up for the second week in a row

Then …the prodigal son himself, El Pud, put in an appearance.

And PTD was finally being able to escape to a Thursday night on the bike

Highlights :

  • A “retro” crew of eight on a classic route
  • Excellent views from up on Dale Top with a clear end to what had been a damp day
  • A long overdue return to the Poachers
  • A fine session IPA “Scaredy Cat” on draught
  • The catalytic effect of Mr T ….Ribaldry was rife from the word go on reaching the pub – Much chortling ensued
  • The corruption of El Presidente into whiskey consumption (..perhaps , on reflection, that should be a lowlight)
