Notes:

Four riders is a good number, and the Artists Lane side of The Edge has some excellent trails. You just need to know where to look.

We dropped in early to the Legh Arms to secure a table , complaints from our illustrious Leader about the early “last food orders” of by 9pm.

Climbing Chelford Rd some of us were wildlife spotting, others admiring the scenery

Buzzard by the Bollin

Bradford lane descent was the best I have ever ever known it

We tapped into Croxy and El presidente’s knowledge of secret tracks 😉 . Much fun was had.

Then up Slade Lane and along Finlow Hill La to get to the Windmill Wood tracks . Short but brilliant fun. Out by the Owl.

Finlow Hill La has some of the best views in Cheshire….

Sutton Common/Croker Hill

The off road track climb of Artists La is way better than winding up the tarmac.

Another trip to Slade Lane, down to a long forgotten but excellent track which passes Higher Park Farm and brings us out on Birtles Lane.

Chris’s beer legs kick in …and we don’t see him again until The Legh Arms .

A bit of a Peroni fest for me and the Butty . Ouch , £5 a pint. But the nosh is satisfying.

And a short ride down the Valley back home for some 🙂
