Firstly – darkness is now upon us for almost the whole ride so I get a bit less snap happy – so the images this week come from a walk in the same territory the week before. The spirit of the route is honoured still, I feel.
At the top of the “Zag” (that is by Windyway House) we stopped to take breath ..I glance to Chris and seeing the familiar front mudguard of his classic Orange 5 i quip “Chris on the Classic Orange 5” only to be corrected by El Pres …..its a new bike …a full bounce giant with 27.5 wheels ….my goodness.
So thats only three of us (this week) with 26in wheels …and four with 650b …..the tide is turning indeed.
A short but hilly route with PTD at the helm .
Sutton hall have now introduced a 9pm hard deadline on food orders , so we had no time for any more anyway.
The ribaldry set in well before the pub !
