Words by Eric

Crew: PTD, Eric
Langley Joe from BL to Langley !
Duncan in the pub

Route: BL, route grande direct to Teggs Nose, RHS to Bottom reservoir, Reverse Nessit, Kershaws folly (aborted) , singletrack, more singletrack, more singletrack to reservoir, climb back to bottom of Nessit reverse Rob’s bench, tourist path to Leathers, Kings Head.

Conditions: Deluge pre start, drying up then getting hot ! – Trails very slippery !

Stats; None, totally faff free. – The case rests m’lud.

Notes:
Outbreak of patheticness, was it the Alps, was it the drop of rain pre start, or did we miss something?
El Pres made a brief appearance on the steps of the Presidential Residence to wish us well and then returned to the bosom of his family claiming a cold.

Langley Joe appeared “en commute” but was persuaded that just once down Teggs was almost on the way home. He was last seen heading away complaining that he had hurt his gentleman’s bits hanging on down the descent – we used our hands and feet Joe.

Strange atmospherics on Teggs, with a little patch of light sky above our heads and all around skies like Armageddon.

PTD route, took in some “paths less trodden” and one huge cliff face.

Kings Head for Landlord and Hobgoblin by the fire. Duncan soloed on the Genesis arriving just in time to stop us having an early night, so more beer was ordered. More an axis of good than evil but the doors were being bolted and the lights turned as we unlocked the bikes post midnight.
