Route: BL, Sutton, Ryles Arms, Fourways, Wincle, Swythamly Hall track, long ascent top ridge. Ridge trail, lower trail to Ludd’s church, choice of up and loop back, down to the ford and along the river, or your own choice! Wincle, Ryles arms.
Conditions: Hot, buggy, dry
Stats: off from stunt.

Notes:
last weeks assumption of another warm dry night were tested by rain during the day, but all comes good for 6:30 on BL.
Mr I resorts to his Marin having broken most of his drivetrain on the yeti (and everything else on it’s this year!).

Dan returns with a shiny lime green cotic and a shocking tale of the five’s demise!!
Slim slips out from inside the presidential palace waving goodbye to Charlotte, and on a night with no El Pres 😉
G is back, and true to form is late, and will catch us up.
Big bern also joins the crew, and with the return of 3 sheds its a goodly sized posse.
first RZ at Ryles for food pre order, then an attempt at pace to do the ride in time.
great trail, great views, but great spread of riders by the end of the ridge. Kershaw protocol invoked, and the first riders are dropped from the pack in an attempt to double back and do the ridge again.
At Ludd’s church as second group decide to do some shorter out and return, and its down to four. Fantastic trail up ( only when this dry) and great ridge run and final descent.
Dan adds to his woes with a big dab that ends with a big down tube frame scrape through shiny new paint! 🙁
Hot slog up Barlow hill and air cooled descent to the Ryles arms.
