Clear Still & Cold, 5ft snow drifts on the tops & Bowstones access rd (see photo above), crust not holding bikes.

Another mega group despite the conditions

The presidential party miss the middlewood way turn & do what turns out to be the A ride!
Bakestondale moor waist deep in snow, so we go high to the gritstone trail – where the wind has blown the snow away to leave a narrow trail of permafrost.
Hot Austins at the top (minus our own Austin)
Much pushing downhill through deep snow to earn our beer
