Route : Barracks Lane, Buxton New Rd, Shining Tor Cafe, Goyt Valley descent, Footpath to access rd, fire-road to (almost) Taxal. Over the ridge to Kerridge . Climb to Pot Shrigley Rd. Descent to Bolly and the Vale 🙂

We were summarily “nicked” by a plain-clothes parkie on the exit from the goyt valley bottom foot-path .

El Pud puncture and Dan’s chain bust meant we had to shorten the route & escape back to Bolly via a gut wrenching climb out of Kettleshume
The Vale was a top choice …massive quality nosh and local beer …including Czech Lager brewed locally ?
