Crew : Usual Northern Suspects
Route : Bridge 11 Rendezvous, South on the towpath and the Middlewoood , Tythy Snickets , Bolly Valley , Prezzas, Alderley Edge “citizen side” , Bradford Lane, Hocker Lane, Hare Hill, Prezzas, Home
Conditions : 6.1c on way out, 4.4c on arrival home at 10:45, one little shower as we traversed Tythy territory
Notes :
It was still light as I left Bolly and headed north – a thin orange band of light on the horizon to the West.
Spring is coming.
Entertained by Tawny Owls in stereo tawny soon after Bollingtonia as I headed for the muster point
It was a “make the route up evening” – Butty always has the good ideas
In Prezzas a brief stop at Coop to get Weiss beer and Pretzels (thanks Butty )
Duncan and Alex chance meeting Chelford Rd – they had just been where we were going – it felt like a premonition of more sociable TNRs soon to come.

A little stop at the “Stone” for beer and pretzels and star watching …
Then to the quieter side and a descent of Bradford lane – wet and muddy – it is the “charity lane” equivalent for AE
A peaceful return east via Hocker lane – nobody else about – just how we like it
Tawny owl fly past as we descend into Prezzas.
A fine evening in good company
