Crew: Butty, TJ, PTD, Troll, Pete

Route : RB – Clarke Lane corner – Endon House Track – Lidgetts Lane- Rainow – Ascent to jumper Lane – Top of Blaze Hill – New route back to Oakenbank Lane – Poachers snicket descent – Beeston Brow ascent – Cobbles descent – The Vale

Conditions : dry and cold

Stats : One Stuck Seatpost

Notes :
It is a rare treat when El Capitan of the Southern Boys (PTD) suggests a 6:45pm RB rendezvous. It works for me.

It’s dry, cold and starlit. And five is a good number. A local route with a twist….Butty has a plan.

This involves a quick visit to jumper Lane, then up to the top of Blaze hill to find the mystical track which will return us to the start of Jumper Lane.
Mission accomplished, and we find a capped mine in the process. A little bit of adventure in familiar territory.

And a novel ascent of Beeston Brow from the Pott shrigley Rd .

Excellent pies in the Vale. Bollington has done us proud. And Endurance IPA locally brewed (5.1%) to boot 🙂 .

God is indeed in his heaven.

Duncan joined us on his lads baby bmx. How bizarre.

A mini AOE is encouraged by Dunc and the Poynton Posse.
