Notes :
A small turn out of “the Regulars” was supplemented by our guest stars : Bernard and Chris.

The leadership vacuum was quickly filled by Butty and he set us off on an innovative route up to “Dale Top” and an innovative one down again 🙂

Full marks for those that sat in the saddle all the way up.

It was breezy on the tops but the views were crystal clear .

Filled with such wonder at the Cheshire nighttime spectacle , we felt a need to pay homage and give thanks to our creator 😉 …so Butty led us on the Chapel exit route from Moorside Lane.
By the end of Long Lane our new found goodness was on the wane , and from Beeston Brow we descending to the fulcrum of the Fleshpots of Bollingtonia : The Poachers.

It was here that we discovered that Young Chris L could be considered a bit of a ringer – he has recently returned from a cycle tour of the length of North and South America !
