A few choice ingredients for a perfect evening
a continuing Indian summer
a northerly route out along the canal (more picturesque than the Middlewood Way)
a west – east traverse of Lyme Park as dusk progresses
a brief gathering at “Butty’s stone” to celebrate another birthday for TJ with the (now customary) Chorizo s/rolls, a “docker” of a pork pie, & Colmans . Washed down with a fine malt
an enthusastic descent of “beavers creek” . It was so named, according to the WNB’s , by their historic leader “Baron Geoff”.
a welcome return to The Poachers where Peroni , Kwak and Leffe flowed liberally
