Notes:
Summer Hols = small turnout .
Small turnout = variation from the norm .
An entertaining circuit in familiar territory but with a few bits not TNRd in quite a while.
Ecton Ave is something that should be done more often . A reverse attack of kerridge bridleway is always an interesting challenge ….as is the ascent of jumper lane …and the ascent to the Highwayman.
Getting to the Gritstone trail never seems difficult from the highwayman.
Sponds hill was magnificent at sunset …but the clock was ticking and we dropped to Shriggers as fast as we could…but in the late summer growth we found it hard I to find the track.
Legh arms was an inspired choice IMHO. Posh lager, good value nosh. No whiskers were ordered.
Alex excelled by managing to combine dinner out with His good lady with a qualification for the TNR “in da pub” category.
It was a team exit via the BV this evening.
All in all…just about perfect.
