For the record, and to dispell the urban myth of my continued late arrival for the TNR, I was at the fabled 28 BL for 6.28pm. Butty was my witness.
Paul had a plan and no-one dissented. Special guest was Dr S, and it was good to have TJ back in the crew….especially when your Magicshine light shows the red warning light earlier than expected. Mr www.brightbikelights.com came up trumps with a spare battery.

it was an evening of Macc Forest circuits in a rough “figure of 8″ . An excellent plan.
It was also a case of ” you show me your 2200 lumens, and I will switch on mine”. Paul has Fluxient, TJ a different brand I cannot recall. China’s finest LEDs and LIon batteries. The Holy Lighting War has begun.
