Conditions: Dry sky, wet trails, mild to start, cold later

Stats: Doog has dodgy lights

Notes:

A dry weather slot in an otherwise soaking wet week

El Pud’s second recovery ride (of many we hope)

Warmer than it looks means many a layer is shed up to the cat (then hurriedly put back on!)

Proper riding on wet trails in the dark (takes a bit of getting used to for those recently returned from Sierra cycling)

An orthopedically friendly road decent option is taken by more riders than expected as the real riders take on a very wet and rocky Chumby (the ford not as deep as you might expect)

A wee snifter or two for the Slim 49er at Nessit (what no pies!) before rapid decent to the Church House for Organ Morgan, Wibbly Wallaby and a de crocked Crox on crutches.

Founder members night with the infamous Robert Griffin making a very rare appearance whilst this side of the pond.

Much catching up after the long summer breaks, and its very late very soon as a Maxis of Evil seems to be the default position in our spiritual home.

Let the autumn season commence!
