Route : Rainbow Bridge, Oak Lane, Redway Tavern route under White Nancy, Ingersley Vale, Oakenbank Lane, Rainow, Bull Hill Lane , Cliff Lane, Back Eddisbury Rd, Buxton Old Rd, Reverse Zig Zags, Whitney croft , Higher Fence Rd, Hulley Rd, Middlewood Way..The Vale
Stats : four crew with mobile phone comms, one satellite team member without…
Conditions : cloudy, cool-ish but only a hint of rain..
Notes :
Confession time…Kersh did try and organise the TNR via the forum…but I did not chip in until late on Thursday pm by which time he was in a mobile phone blackout zone :-)..
Nevertheless the TNR tradition was continued …and founder members of the “south eastern TNR massive” were eager to quaff in the Northern Territory of deepest Bollingtonia.
Seven weeks to the day, El Pud was back on bike following the bionic rebuilding of the worn out bits. I was glad to have El Presidente along too so that I was not outnumbered by the rebuilt hip chaps…BTW ( PTD please note) he was riding the crosser !
Eric (aka now as “the fiddler”) was on a test ride of Kate’s “London bike” …very retro, and economically single speeded too. God bless Bikes of Park Lane.
The Vale was as hospitable as ever. Moravka seems to be the default tipple of choice.
Mr K was also out…route unknown. The Poachers and the Lord Clyde were involved…
Slim.
