Conditions: Sunny, Breezy, warm, very wet in places

Stats:  Slim punctures and takes 2 tubes to fix it!

From TNR 28-06-2012 Mayhem Warm Down version 2 – pl 1600

Notes:

Four slightly weary riders plus Dan, still with plently of Ledbury mud and grass to shake out of various nooks and crannies!

Buxton Road closed past the cat – so little traffic on the climb. Danebower hollow trickier than normal due to very soft edges, still being on mud tyres or general “wrong head on”. no sign of Pete at the A54 so a climb back up finds him still fixing a front puncture!

We take the RH shortcut into Chumby (very wet), descend Chumby (very rocky then very wet!), and tootle back round the forest.

Smithy (plan A) have switched back to serving only till 9, but we do bump into Belgian Andy 🙂 delaying us just enough to miss food at plan B

Church House, so default to option C – Sutton Hall.

Leffe & Lord Lucan to lubricate the tall tales of mayhem to the impressively large audience, and invite Dunc to abandon the soft Duks for the reassuringly determined TNR’ers.
