TNR 22-9-2011 Both Nostrils of Teggs Nose

Crew: PTD, Shaun, Eric, Nic, 3 Sheds, Stunt

Route:  BL, Zig Zags, Higher Teggs, New Super Steep Descent, to Crooked yard lane, up the cobbles to Teggs Car park, over the top, normal teggs descent with a bit of the left then a bit of the right novelty, langley resevoirs, smithy, around resevoir to bottom of nessit, left down the zig zags, back round the lower resevoir route, Kings Head.

Conditions: Mild & still, pretty dry trails.

Stats: No faffs but a few hoping their batteries would last the evening!

Notes:

We indulge PTD who has clearly been plotting routes from the back garden!

Man with shot gun on the zig zags

New lexicon entry “Smith” aka Reverse Kershaw, a slope for walking bikes down (unless you are a Downhill king)

Lower sections smooth & flowy, no one cleans the cobbles (although all made it through the gate to the rocky part)

Properly dark by 7:30 – equinox has passed – its now officially autumn.

Lefty righty is alrighty, quick swoop up & around lower forest (2 deer at the bottom of nessit)

Kings Head for food, jazz & high brow conversation (thermodynamics of heat pumps, green credentials)

Who needs sunshine & san migs 😉

oh heck we’ve all turned into James May
