Conditions: Sunny but then clouded over, cooler in the breeze than you might think. Dry & dusty trails.

Stats: – No faffs but Dunc admits to an off in the pub.

Notes:

G plans a repeat of the January Jumbo epic, but 7 out of 10 riders prefer sensible at rainbow bridge

Dry trails and sunshine make the hills smaller and the descents better 🙂

G still manages to find mud on Bank lane and starts siren songs of cocktails at wingather rocks and a slightly smaller jumbo (the asian?)

now we find that 7 out of ten riders prefer elephant and we part ways at Jenkins chapel

Pyms chair topped out to a shimmering red disc of setting sun, fab ridge runs in the dusk,

Butties and cocktails at the end of taxal ridge before that “little” drop into Kettleshulme and up behind the moorside.

Tired legs up to bowstones, but rapid descent down and into the Vale for 10, still able to get chips

Dunc shows Nachos is best, and tactical cokes now come with whisky chasers 😉
