Conditions:  Mild, overcast and superdry under tyre

Wind/waterproofs not required for the first time this year

Nic learns about magic links

RAI tops make a reappearance (from blue team)

Route choice to allow late starters to join at the tea rooms (but not the best for butty’s singlespeed!)

A good night for wildlife  i-spy spots of Owls, Curlew, Grouse, Bats & Mice

All trails nice & dry (but not dusty)

RHS of forest near perfect (apart from a logging pile on the finish)
