Initial big plans of reaching Taxal fade fast on the Shining Tor Pathway of Punctures.
Andy first to succumb. Kersh heard to mutter – “It’s how you weight and unweight the bike over the drainage channels”. But was strangely quiet 10 minutes later whilst repairing his own puncture.
Nancy’s fly past – only to be struck down themselves shortly after.

Nancy’s seen again as we pass the Poachers and confess they have driven back from the Goyt.
In The Vale an open fire, superb pie, 3 pints and reminisces of ‘New Invention’ make everything seem right again.
