Return from pub: A54 Chunder climb to Wildboar – Sutton Lane Ends – Macc
Wevver: Cooling down fast and a stiff breeze at the Cat. Just about freezing.
Notes : Route to walker barn. “It’s a test, not a race.” (to quote El Pud). Mmmm
Butty leaves “Mo and “jo” at home.
Dan out two weeks running and with brilliant route.
Chazza interesting with water and ice
Cold on the ascent to Cat and Fiddle ..we do not hang about at the top.
Paul goes paddling at the quarries section.
Weird hot lemon whisky beverage from El Pud in Blackclough (pic below). Very welcome though !!!

Good climb out from the Three Shires Head
It felt like “we had been out” by the time we get to the pub
Warm welcome. The whole place to ourselves. £10 steak and chips with very good beer.
