Route: BL- Tea Rooms, out & back to Shining Tor, Bottom of oven, Standing stone, Erics back of the moon route to shutlingsloe, slabs back to forest, direct route back to Church House
Conditions: Chilly with low cloud, ground not too muddy.

Notes:
Everyone ignored Dan’s suggestion of going “dim” with bar mounted retro lights – including Dan!
Team rendevozed at the tea rooms with Butty having risked rutting stags and getting lost over the tops in the cloud.
Dans lighting idea would actually have been the right answer as we switched down to medium/low settings on our head lamps to be able to see!

Impromptu Energy bar tasting session at shining tor in the absence of cake – we like Zip vit 🙂
Poor vis makes descent off the Tor much more exciting!

Eye spy count this week – 1 fell runner, 1 weeny toad, 3 dog walkers
The new lady landlords of the Church house make us welcome and the kitchen wench rustles up 7 meals in the blink of an eye. Copper Dragon, Hobgoblin and even some Laphroaig later in a slide towards AoE. We are invited to help decide where a new bike rack might be sighted.
