Stats:
Punctures for Butty & Eric
1 off for Butty in Taxal ford
Notes:
Stunt fills the leadership vacuum and takes us further afield to an old favourite.
Duncan realizes he is under dressed as jackets come out in the carpark
A “boil in the bag” night – too hot on the climbs with a jacket, too cold on the descents without!
Butty flies down the first rocky descent into Buxton and punctures almost immediately.
…Eric discovers his a mile further on.
Excellent conditions under wheel – and its smiles all round from the Midshires all the way into Taxal. The old road section had really broken up since our last visit (even better though!)
More cake from Luc 🙂
Butty joins the Taxal Sub aqua club toppling at the last in the Ford.
Reservoirs incredibly low, TJ pops into the sailing club to talk to Canoe man.
Non Drivers go via Pyms chair direct to pub.
Road section from goyt to Derbyshire bridge almost rebuilt now, and no issues in crossing.
Team reformed at the Springwood just in time to get food .
Butty reappears in dry attire.
Beer and food consumed with speed before fatigue & jobsworth staff thwart any axis of evil tendencies.
