But carry-out nosh taken in is OK as an alternative ! (They even provided crockery and cutlery)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/53510501022\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" title=\"20240201-IMG_4219iPhone 14 Pro\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53510501022_86e15a4ba8_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" alt=\"20240201-IMG_4219iPhone 14 Pro\"><\/a><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>So it turns into an easy ride with some reconnaissance of take-out food places . It was not totally slack as we had a novel traverse of the saddle of Kerridge using the footpath from the end of Lidgett\u2019s Lane &#8211; very slippy and lots of pushing .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good to be up on the top especially as its a calm night. A little tricky trying to stay upright and get down to the bridleway . The Troll became Mr Tumble Troll due to insufficient tyre tread \u2026but we all struggled to get traction .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carry-out recon : The Chinese is cash only and has no fish &amp; chips ..but The Kebab place takes cards and has a vote of confidence from PTD.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/53510500782\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" title=\"20240201-IMG_4227iPhone 14 Pro\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53510500782_281fab01d5_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" alt=\"20240201-IMG_4227iPhone 14 Pro\"\/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>A loop out to Moorside Lane and the Chapel descent &#8211; PTD takes on Beeston Brow solo as the rest of the crew aren\u2019t keen on gaining and then immediately losing height . Great mackerel sky&nbsp; on show on reaching the Brickworks. The chapel descent was particularly wet and muddy , but reliably satisfying .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/53511395371\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" title=\"20240201-IMG_4226iPhone 14 Pro\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53511395371_c876ef36b3_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" alt=\"20240201-IMG_4226iPhone 14 Pro\"><\/a><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>Back via long lane , most went left up Green Lane , I went right as it was the fastest route to my Kebab !&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/53511394631\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" title=\"20240201-IMG_4233iPhone 14 Pro\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53511394631_cfae34b3e1_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" alt=\"20240201-IMG_4233iPhone 14 Pro\"><\/a><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>We left our \u201cshipping order\u201d in the capable hands of the ladies of the Kebab , and winched are way up to the Poachers where Alex had already set up base camp at our usual table . The Troll played a blinder and drove down to pick it all up !!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/53511712079\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" title=\"20240201-IMG_4238iPhone 14 Pro\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53511712079_6beb759792_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" alt=\"20240201-IMG_4238iPhone 14 Pro\"><\/a><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>There were jealous glances from the Nancies as the Kebabs were unpacked and consumed&#8230;generous portions of chips too.
