Being very warm an outer waterproof is still needed but maybe not zipped up.<\/p>\n<p><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/35045513112\/in\/album-72157681947269613\/\" title=\"IMG_3249\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4249\/35045513112_00052a2d8e_c.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"323\" alt=\"IMG_3249\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Cracking views of sun &amp; clouds &amp; \u00a0downpours, buzzards &amp; mobbing crows (rooks?) very clear too.<\/p>\n<p><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/35170964156\/in\/album-72157681947269613\/\" title=\"IMG_1732\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4240\/35170964156_d2737ae961_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" alt=\"IMG_1732\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Progress up to Windyways at times slow as we linger under trees when the heaviest rain hits.<\/p>\n<p>Chapeau to a young lad who (to great encouragement from Dad) has done the climb from Leathers to the start of Chazza, we leave them to have a breather before carrying on.<\/p>\n<p>Into the normal snicket, but what&#8217;s this turn left at \u00a0the first clearing!? ahah &#8211; PTD shows us swoopy &#8220;bombhole&#8221; strewn trail, much fun, although a few too many refusals for his liking!<\/p>\n<p><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/35080877491\/in\/album-72157681947269613\/\" title=\"IMG_3250\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4284\/35080877491_e170c00413_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" alt=\"IMG_3250\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>At Narnia Butty suggest we do it again, and after some thought we do! Although we go back the &#8220;hard&#8221; way by doing Narnia (the shrubbery is getting closer to the final gravelly bit all the time) and has drawn blood from a steely eyed Stunt!<\/p>\n<p>Take two, and this time PTD goes into full on coaching mode with demos of how to position when approaching the rim (inuendo strewn banter ensues) \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/35210860115\/in\/album-72157681947269613\/\" title=\"IMG_3260\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4209\/35210860115_0ca992ccc8_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" alt=\"IMG_3260\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Despite the rowdiness of his class, it has had some effect as far fewer refusals this time, and more bombholing on the final one with new lines created.<\/p>\n<p>Time marches on, and thoughts of exploring &#8220;south of Narnia&#8221; are shelved for another week, and a second Narnia descent followed (in heavy rain) down Hardingland to Rainbows and smiles!<\/p>\n<p><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maccaustinsorguk\/35210873905\/in\/album-72157681947269613\/\" title=\"IMG_3263\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4283\/35210873905_d56f9b1bbf_z.jpg\" width=\"427\" height=\"640\" alt=\"IMG_3263\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>We arrive to cheers at the Sutton Hall garden muddy, wet and happy!<\/p>\n<p>Some decontamination is needed before we can even show our faces at the bar \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>A fine selection of Ales, with Lemon Dream and the intriguingly smoky Little Bollington for most, with Butty and Pete waxing lyrical about the Hoegaarden!<\/p>\n<p>Conversation flowed freely, and not all politics on an interesting night of electoral history.
