Yellow eyes in the distance show the flock taking very early avoidance as we hike a bike over the high stiles.<\/p>\n<p>The old road across the tops appears to have been traversed by a humungus vehicle &#8211; the tyre tracks must have been 2 feet deep and almost as wide, the old brick dam across the stream near the upper fence now two piles of rubble!<\/p>\n<p>No decent line left across the swamp at the top &#8211; muddy shoes all round.<\/p>\n<p>No sign of deer on Park Moor, descent running well with the biggest of the ruts of yesteryear filling in nicely.
