Once off the hardpack track we we\u2019re slithering around in the mud; at least is it was posh Prestbury mud but that didn\u2019t stop Steve bemoaning the defiling of his new oddly sized wheel machine. The temptation to call it a day at the Legh Arms \u201cfirst pass\u201d was avoided and the field strung out up Chelford Road. It strung out so much that a breakaway group of anarchists rejected Stunt\u2019s leadership and headed off into the darkness.<br \/>\nThe Stunted group (ouch) continued around the bridleways to the west, climbing back up Artists Lane. Further frolics and a stiff climb up Swiss Hill brought the two groups back together but not before Coley had fallen off and twisted his knee.
