Route: BL, route grande direct to Teggs Nose, RHS to Bottom reservoir, Reverse Nessit, Kershaws folly (aborted) , singletrack, more singletrack, more singletrack to reservoir, climb back to bottom of Nessit reverse Rob\u2019s bench, tourist path to Leathers, Kings Head. <\/p>\n
Conditions: Deluge pre start, drying up then getting hot ! \u2013 Trails very slippery !<\/p>\n
Stats; None, totally faff free. \u2013 The case rests m\u2019lud.<\/p>\n
Notes:
\nOutbreak of patheticness, was it the Alps, was it the drop of rain pre start, or did we miss something?
\nEl Pres made a brief appearance on the steps of the Presidential Residence to wish us well and then returned to the bosom of his family claiming a cold.<\/p>\n
Langley Joe appeared \u201cen commute\u201d but was persuaded that just once down Teggs was almost on the way home. He was last seen heading away complaining that he had hurt his gentleman\u2019s bits hanging on down the descent \u2013 we used our hands and feet Joe.<\/p>\n
Strange atmospherics on Teggs, with a little patch of light sky above our heads and all around skies like Armageddon.<\/p>\n
PTD route, took in some \u201cpaths less trodden\u201d and one huge cliff face.<\/p>\n
Kings Head for Landlord and Hobgoblin by the fire. Duncan soloed on the Genesis arriving just in time to stop us having an early night, so more beer was ordered.
