Route : Barracks La, Teggs Nose Rear Entry and novel exit, Hardingland, reverse Narnia, Chazza plus, Standing Stone, “two-sided valley”, wildboarclough, greenaway bridge, Hanging gate, Sutton Hall<\/p>\n

Conditions : Lovely…and enough wind to keep off the flying beasties<\/p>\n

Stats : 4 were baptised ; 1 very cool Retro Orange with V-brakes (well done Dunc !) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes: <\/p>\n

– Its the summer silly season so many of the regulars were absent
\n– PTD in charge and so route was interesting and challenging
\n– trails were in excellent form , especially the descent into wildboarclough through the TSV
\n– 3 shires head summer dip swapped for a wildboarclough baptism – TJ, PTD, Ian and Bern are now blessed by the waters
\n– Too late for the hanging gate (“Creamy Puddings, Boys”)
\n– Sutton Hall served up “Blue Monkey” plus Whale & chips…God was in his heaven
\n– PTD recounted entertaining tales of camper van breakdown in the Alps and wild mountaineering in Wales <\/p>\n\n\n\n
